Shuttle Van Driver

About the Role

Airbus is seeking a Shuttle Van Driver for a contract position in Al Qatif. This role involves operating a passenger vehicle to safely and efficiently transport Airbus employees within the Mobile Manufacturing Site (MMS) on designated routes. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, reliable, and possess strong customer service skills, along with an excellent driving record.

Primary Responsibilities

The Shuttle Van Driver will be responsible for the safe operation of shuttle vans, passenger tracking, and fleet care. Key duties include:

• Safely operate passenger shuttle vans along designated routes and schedules to transport employees to and from Airbus MMS.
• Actively monitor and optimize turn times to ensure employee wait times are kept to a minimum.
• Provide overtime shift coverage as required to maintain continuous shuttle service.

Data Recording and Fleet Management Support

This position requires accurate record-keeping to support fleet operations and maintenance planning.

• Record hourly passenger counts accurately to track volume across all designated stops.
• Log vehicle mileage daily to assist fleet management in determining proper routine maintenance schedules.

Communication and Vehicle Maintenance

Effective communication and maintaining vehicle cleanliness are essential aspects of this role.

• Promptly communicate with supervisors and fellow drivers regarding any route deviations, delays, or needs.
• Clean vehicle interiors on a regular basis to maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Communicate courteously with passengers regarding route stops and schedule requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Experience required: 0-1 years.
• Possess an excellent driving record.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
• Be safety-conscious and reliable.
