About the Role

Hyatt Place Al Ula is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie (Italian) to join their team in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for the successful opening of the new Hyatt Place AlUla property, which will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting spaces, a swimming pool, and a fitness center.

Role Overview

As the Chef de Partie specializing in Italian cuisine, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of Italian dishes. This position requires ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to hotel standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present Italian dishes in accordance with hotel standards.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Support the kitchen team during daily operations and service periods.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of all ingredients.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards within the kitchen.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, with a preference for experience in Italian cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic kitchen setting.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment

This role is based at the new Hyatt Place AlUla property in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position. The hotel aims to appeal to both leisure and business travelers.
