The Role of Methods & Temporary Works Engineer

This contract role is based in Al Ula and supports project delivery by developing construction methodologies and temporary works solutions. The engineer ensures the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all construction activities within the projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop construction methodologies and temporary works solutions to support project execution.
• Prepare method statements, temporary works procedures, technical studies, and supporting engineering documentation.
• Coordinate temporary works requirements with design consultants, construction teams, and specialist subcontractors.
• Review and manage temporary works designs, calculations, drawings, and approvals.
• Support excavation support systems, formwork, falsework, access platforms, lifting arrangements, and temporary structures.
• Participate in constructability reviews and recommend practical construction and temporary works solutions.
• Assess construction risks associated with temporary works and develop mitigation measures.
• Support heavy lifting studies and temporary load assessments.
• Monitor temporary works installation and ensure compliance with approved designs and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and cost reduction related to temporary works.
