About the Role

SNC-Lavalin Fayez Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a PMC background for a role in Al Ula, KSA. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of project delivery to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed fitout delivery plans, coordinating with base build teams to ensure seamless integration between shell/core and fitout phases.
• Plan procurement schedules, aligning with long lead items and global sourcing strategies.
• Establish, monitor, and report on fitout budgets, controlling costs and identifying value-engineering opportunities.
• Manage contractor contracts and variations in collaboration with commercial and procurement teams.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including consultants, architects, contractors, and client representatives.
• Facilitate collaboration among cultural advisors, end-users, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and key stakeholders, providing regular progress updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure all project activities comply with KSA regulations and coordinate with local authorities.
• Implement robust QA/QC procedures and conduct regular inspections to meet client expectations and design intent.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, building regulations, and company quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and interface conflicts between trades or construction stages.
• Maintain and update risk registers in coordination with the Programme Management Office (PMO).
• Ensure fitout strategies align with project sustainability goals, including material selection, waste management, and energy efficiency.
• Support BIM integration (LOD 300/350+) and contribute to the final as-built model data for facilities management readiness.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover procedures.
• Ensure the delivery of complete O&M manuals, asset registers, and training for FM and end-user teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a project leadership role within KSA.
• Currently based in KSA.
• Proven track record in delivering high-end buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with KSA regulatory bodies and project delivery environments.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent PM tools.
• Familiarity with BIM platforms is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project conditions and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Work Context

This is a regular full-time position located in Al Ula, KSA. The role involves working within a project management consultancy framework.
