Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Al Madinah, specifically covering projects in Al Ula and Medina. This full-time role involves overseeing commercial and contractual management, ensuring accurate cost tracking for infrastructure projects, and contributing to large-scale development programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead measurement, cost control, and contract administration activities for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare major variation claims, conduct cost impact assessments, and generate commercial reports.
• Review and approve Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity breakdowns, and valuations.
• Conduct risk analysis for potential cost overruns and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior Quantity Surveyor staff and ensure effective coordination with finance, planning, and engineering teams.
• Participate in negotiations with clients and contractors, as well as project reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on pre- and post-contract cost management for major infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in cost planning, estimating, tendering processes, payment certification, variations, claims management, and final accounts.
• Proficiency in commercial reporting and stakeholder management.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure and development programs is required.
