Nammos Resort Amaala is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Waiter to join its team in Al Wajh, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring exceptional dining experiences and maintaining high service standards within the resort's restaurant operations. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience in a senior service capacity.

Role Purpose

The Head Waiter is responsible for leading a team of service staff during assigned shifts, functioning as a senior service professional on the floor. The primary objective is to ensure the designated restaurant section operates flawlessly, that all service standards are consistently met by the team, and that guests receive an outstanding and memorable dining experience. This role provides direct operational support to restaurant management, including staff mentorship and handling day-to-day details.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead a team of waiters and manage a specific restaurant section during service to uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
• Serve as a lead service expert by greeting and seating guests, taking orders for VIPs and complex tables, and delivering exemplary service.
• Engage with guests throughout their dining experience, cultivate relationships with regular clientele, and resolve minor concerns proactively.
• Maintain the dining room ambiance, ensuring lighting, music, table settings, and overall presentation consistently meet restaurant standards.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and guidance to Waiters and Waitresses on service standards, menu knowledge, and upselling techniques.
• Support management in conducting daily pre-shift briefings, communicating menu specials, operational updates, and service objectives.
• Monitor team performance during service, offering constructive feedback and reporting observations to the Restaurant Manager.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment through teamwork and maintaining high service standards.
• Oversee the mise en place for assigned sections, ensuring side stations are fully stocked and all silverware, glassware, and linen are prepared to the highest standard.
• Coordinate effectively between the service team and the kitchen to ensure accurate order delivery and timely course progression.
• Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures in accordance with operational requirements.
• Support inventory counts of beverages, linen, and other operating supplies as needed.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar senior service role within a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a service team effectively.
• Strong understanding of fine dining service standards and guest relations.
