Testing and commissioning Engineer for Location ( BSP V Substations

About the Role

Nesma Infrastructure & Technology is seeking a Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Bishah, 'Asir. This full-time role focuses on the testing and commissioning of substations within the BSP V project, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and commissioning for transmission substations across various voltage levels (***, 33kV, 110kV, 115kV, 132kV, and 380kV).
• Provide technical supervision and site coordination for electrical projects.
• Analyze electrical systems, designs, and components, and prepare necessary drawings and testing schedules.
• Ensure all work complies with local utility standards and international regulations.
• Supervise site technicians and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Perform walk-downs to validate commissioning turnover acceptance.
• Offer technical instruction and mentoring on substation systems and electrical power systems.
• Liaise with local utility organizations to meet project requirements.
• Report progress and findings directly to the T&C Manager.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning electrical substations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-voltage environments.
• Strong understanding of operational safety protocols in electrical settings.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Bishah, 'Asir, requiring on-site presence for project execution and supervision. The role involves working with high-voltage electrical systems, where adherence to safety standards is paramount.
