SPARK Logistics is seeking an experienced RTG Operator to join its team in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to supporting terminal operations through the safe and efficient handling of containers.

Role Overview

The RTG Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes within the container terminal. This position supports the timely movement, stacking, loading, and unloading of containers, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate RTG cranes safely and efficiently for container handling operations.
• Perform container loading, unloading, stacking, grounding, and yard movement activities.
• Utilize automated RTG functions, including yard profiling, auto gantry, soft landing, and anti-collision systems.
• Utilize ROS/SCADA systems to receive and execute operational jobs.
• Perform RTG block changes and follow remote operation protocols.
• Conduct routine RTG inspections and report equipment issues or abnormalities.
• Coordinate with Terminal Operations, Engineering, and HSSE teams to support smooth operations.
• Monitor RTG operations and support efforts to minimize equipment downtime.
• Follow operational procedures and all applicable safety requirements.
• Support physical inventory counts and daily operational reporting when required.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated hands-on experience operating Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes.
• Experience in container terminal operations.
• A strong commitment to safe and efficient container handling practices.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Buqayq, Saudi Arabia, requiring active participation in terminal operations.
