The Role of Doctor

Maarif Education is seeking a dedicated Doctor to provide quality medical care for students, staff, and visitors within its school environment in Dammam. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the health and well-being of the school community, including diagnosing, educating, and treating individuals to support their ability to perform duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical counseling and health education to students and staff.
• Diagnose and treat patients while strictly maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Document patients' medical histories and recommend specialists as needed.
• Cooperate with other medical institutions within the education sector.
• Participate in health-related projects and initiatives.
• Compile reports, documents, and statistics related to medical services.
• Adhere to the Code of Medical Ethics, relevant laws and regulations of the Ministry of Health (MOH), and departmental procedures.
• Exercise the highest possible standard of patient care, utilizing available resources effectively.
• Apply clinical skills and methods appropriate to a primary care setting to analyze patient complaints and establish optimal action plans.
• Assess health problems presented by patients, including taking history, conducting investigations, and providing diagnoses as appropriate.
• Follow up on patients with ongoing or chronic illnesses.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the medical department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Holding a valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) license.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern region. The role involves working directly within a school setting, interacting with students, staff, and visitors.
