This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our storerooms and ensuring efficient inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily with the Head Storekeeper on authorized storeroom requisitions.
• Prepare and issue stock items requested as per system requisitions.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for stock items received and issued.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in storerooms and ensure proper arrangements of items.
• Assist with food and beverage inventory checks and record expiry dates accordingly.

Qualifications:

• A degree in hospitality with prior experience in stores, purchasing, and receiving, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Proficiency in English communication and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of software like Opera, Micros, and FBM is an advantage.

As a Storekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management of our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safeguarding all stock located within the warehouse.
• Controlling and monitoring inventory movements to ensure availability when required.
• Managing all incoming deliveries and shipments while ensuring safe storage of all stock.
• Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments of equipment/materials.
• Comparing deliveries with specifications indicated on purchase orders and preparing discrepancy reports.
• Preparing items for dispatch to clients based on delivery documentation.
• Conducting inspections of the storage area and maintaining physical condition of materials and equipment.
• Collaborating with the Financial Controller to undertake physical inventories as needed.
• Performing other duties to support other departments when required.
• Maintaining a clean and presentable warehouse environment.
• Working closely with the procurement and finance departments.
