Aloula Aviation is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role involves performing engineering analysis, development, design, coordination, and control of assigned projects within a recognized engineering field. The incumbent will apply their engineering specialty, knowledge of related engineering fields, and applicable codes and standards to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.

Role Overview

The Facilities Engineer will work on duties and projects with the support of more senior engineers, focusing on engineering aspects of studies or designs within engineering, maintenance, and operation functions. This position involves assisting in the planning and design of airport facilities, overseeing critical maintenance, project management, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for executing technical support, preventive maintenance, and infrastructure assessments, ensuring safety and efficiency. The role also drives continuous improvement through industry best practices, sustainability initiatives, and clear stakeholder reporting for optimal asset management.

Key Responsibilities

• Review work performed externally for conformance with SAO conditions and its relationship to existing installations, redesigning and recommending modifications as needed.
• Outline supporting service requirements such as drafting, surveying, materials take-off, requisitioning, and clerical services; coordinate progress and review accuracy upon completion.
• Develop cost estimates for engineering, labor, equipment, and materials based on preliminary design data; prepare expenditure requests and justifications with supporting details.
• Assist other engineers in solving problems outside their specific specialty.
• Initiate reports, assemble performance data, and conduct studies related to equipment development, procurement, or adaptation; interpret codes and standards, and review operating procedures and safety instructions.
• Participate in the development of engineering, material, and equipment specifications, and resolve related engineering problems by applying accepted engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Develop solutions and formulate design bases by collecting and analyzing data related to operating requirements, processes, and economic considerations to support proposals for new construction, modifications, or equipment maintenance.
• Monitor and inspect construction progress of assigned projects to ensure conformance with company engineering requirements; recommend or confirm design changes, material and equipment substitutes, and ensure costs remain within appropriated funds.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in a facilities engineering role.
• Strong training, knowledge, and ability in an engineering specialty.
• Working knowledge of related engineering fields and applicable codes and standards.
