As part of the PPG Group, the world’s largest paint company, Sigma Paints Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated professional to manage the purchasing of goods and services efficiently.

Job Purpose:
The Procurement Officer plays a key role in managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and executing procurement activities including negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Main Job Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing Activities: Process purchase orders, source and evaluate suppliers, and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Supplier Management: Maintain supplier records, monitor performance, and resolve delivery or quality issues.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to policies and regulations while maintaining procurement records.
  • Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with internal departments and communicate with suppliers to track orders.
  • Reporting: Generate procurement reports and assist in preparing key performance metrics.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Certifications such as CIPS or APICS are preferred.
  • Proficiency in procurement software (*, SAP or Microsoft PP).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
