Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a Senior Treasury Specialist to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time role is central to managing the company’s financial liquidity and optimizing investment strategies. The specialist will ensure effective cash flow management and compliance with financial regulations.

Role Overview

The Senior Treasury Specialist is responsible for overseeing daily cash management, preparing financial forecasts, and maintaining strong relationships with banking institutions. This position plays a critical role in mitigating financial risks and ensuring the company's financial stability and growth through strategic treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily cash positions to ensure adequate funds for operational and capital investment needs.
• Prepare cash rolling forecasts and budgets, monitoring actual performance against budgeted cash flows and analyzing financial data.
• Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
• Develop and implement investment strategies to optimize returns on surplus funds and manage investment portfolios.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks, including currency and interest rate risks.
• Manage existing debt and arrange new debt as necessary, ensuring timely payment of interest and principal.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.
• Calculate and record finance charges, including monthly accruals for unbilled charges.
• Conduct random validation of finance charges debited by banks to ensure accuracy per signed agreements.
• Implement and maintain treasury management systems, continuously improving processes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments such as accounting, finance, and operations on treasury-related matters.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in treasury management or a related financial field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow, optimize investments, and mitigate financial risks.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Province. The role involves working collaboratively with various internal departments to ensure cohesive financial management.
