  • Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), incoterms, warranties, and delivery lead times with international vendors.
  • Communicate fluently and professionally in English (written and verbal) with international manufacturers across North America, Europe, and Asia.
  • Clarify technical discrepancies, missing specifications, or alternative part offerings with internal engineering and sales teams.
  • Maintain clean vendor records, pricing history, and sourcing intelligence databases.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
  • 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in technical sourcing, industrial procurement, or technical estimation within MRO, heavy industry, or EPC supply chains.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment nameplates, exploded part diagrams, and detailed spare parts catalogs.
  • Expert-level mastery of search operators (Boolean logic, advanced search filters), global trade directories, and technical part discovery.
  • High accuracy in matching exact specifications, material grades, tolerances, and manufacturer certifications.
  • Familiarity with major industrial equipment categories (*, pumps, valves, compressors, turbines, instrumentation, electrical switchgear).
  • Working knowledge of international commercial terms (Incoterms 2020), export controls, and customs documentation.
  • Experience using enterprise ERP/CRM tools and sourcing platforms.
