Opportunity: Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in Aerospace Engineering

The Department of Aerospace Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking qualified Saudi candidates for faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. This full-time role involves contributing to both the research and teaching objectives of the department, supporting the university's mission in scientific and academic development.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. Responsibilities for this faculty position include:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching to undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Conducting independent and collaborative research in relevant areas of Aerospace Engineering.
  • Providing academic advising and mentorship to students.
  • Performing administrative duties as assigned by the department.
  • Undertaking any other academic duties deemed necessary by the academic department.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this faculty position:

  • An earned ** degree from a reputable university in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Completion of full-time bachelor’s and master’s degrees with very good academic grades.
  • Possession of a certificate equivalency if the academic degrees were obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Work Environment and Commitment

This is a full-time academic position based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a commitment to both teaching and research activities within the Department of Aerospace Engineering, contributing actively to the academic community of KFUPM.
