About the Electronic Technician Role

Cubic Corporation is seeking an Electronic Technician to provide operation and maintenance support for P-4 SAKITS pods in Dhahran, Eastern Region. This role is integral to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) F15C/D Air Combat Maneuver & Instrumentation (ACMI) program. The position operates on an employee basis, with salary undisclosed.

Key Responsibilities

The Electronic Technician will report to the Site Manager and work collaboratively with two Field Service Technicians, requiring a high degree of independent work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining logs for P-4 SAKITS pods, including serial numbers, types, dates, times, and remarks for shop check-ins and check-outs.
• Managing daily status and availability logs for all P-4 SAKITS pods.
• Recording elapsed Time Meter readings monthly to determine each pod's operational time.
• Operating and maintaining the P-4 SAKITS Test Set according to technical documentation.
• Performing Organizational-Level (O-Level) and Intermediate-Level (I-Level) maintenance tests and replacing Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) on P-4 SAKITS pods.
• Assisting with the operation and maintenance of display equipment as needed.
• Performing duties of a computer operations technician, including loading programs for operation and testing, conducting subsystem tests for operational readiness, loading pre-mission exercise data into the Data Transfer Device (DTD), and maintaining a control log for DTD issuance and return.
• Operating graphics terminals during live exercises and supporting display and control operations.
• Providing technical assistance to RSAF or aircrews for replay/debriefing setups.
• Maintaining and storing records of mission tapes and a mission event log with specific data.
• Interfacing directly with the RSAF regarding mission sortie effectiveness.
• Performing additional operations duties as directed by the Site Supervisor.
• Complying with Cubic’s values, policies, and procedures, including code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Supporting the setup of project equipment when required.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure successful service provision to the customer.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• The ability to comply with company standard practices for field assignments.
• A college qualification in a technical related field, or equivalent technical education and military experience.

Desirable Qualifications

• Certification of English Comprehension, Speaking, Reading, and Writing by TOEFL, STEP Test, or another KSA-recognized exam.
• An Engineering Degree specializing in Electronics, Avionics, or Communication.
