Eram Talent is seeking a Geomatics Engineer - Fresh Graduate specializing in cartography to join our client's spatial data team. This is a contract position based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on transforming complex survey and geospatial data into precise, high-quality maps and visual assets for major energy projects.

Role Overview

The Geomatics Engineer will contribute to spatial data management and cartographic production. This entry-level position involves working with various datasets to support engineering and survey teams, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of all map products. The individual will be responsible for adhering to established mapping standards and corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, compile, and produce accurate thematic maps, facility layouts, and pipeline routing diagrams using GIS and cartographic tools.
• Process and manage spatial datasets, ensuring proper coordinate systems, data integrity, and adherence to mapping standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and survey teams to translate field data and technical drawings into clear visual representations.
• Perform quality control on map products for spatial accuracy, clarity, and compliance with corporate guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering, GIS, Cartography, or a related discipline.
• Strong foundational knowledge of cartographic principles, map projections, coordinate systems, and spatial analysis.
• Familiarity with industry-standard GIS and mapping software (*, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, AutoCAD).
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
