About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Information Systems and Operations Management. This full-time position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals holding a bachelor's degree, with 0-1 years of experience. The role is situated within the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management and is dedicated to supporting both research and teaching activities across various branches of the field.

Key Responsibilities

The Graduate Assistant will undertake a range of academic and administrative duties, contributing to the department's mission. Expected professional duties will require approximately 35-40 hours per week. Core responsibilities include:

• Performing teaching duties as assigned.
• Conducting research activities within Information Systems and Operations Management.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Executing administrative tasks for the department.
• Undertaking any other academic duties as directed by the academic department.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following academic qualifications to be considered for this position:

• An earned bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Completion of a full-time bachelor’s degree program with very good grades.
• If the bachelor's degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a certificate equivalency is required.

Work Environment and Language

The role is based at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran. The medium of instruction at KFUPM is English, and all professional duties will be conducted in English.
