SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead Finance & Product Master

About the Role

emagine is seeking an SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead focusing on Finance and Product Master Data. This full-time, onsite role is based in Dhahran, Eastern region, and involves establishing effective governance and structures for product and finance master data. The primary objective is to maintain data integrity and quality across various entities, ensuring alignment with the target data model.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current product master data, hierarchies, and finance master data quality across affiliates.
• Design a unified product taxonomy, including product hierarchy and material classifications.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, and the master data lifecycle with approval controls.
• Set data quality rules and scorecards, establishing master data governance requirements.
• Define master data readiness actions for CFIN and the roadmap for future EPM.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in SAP MDG implementations, with a focus on Financials (MDG-F) and Material/Product (MDG-M).
• Proven experience in designing product hierarchies and classifications, particularly within the Oil & Gas or chemicals sectors.
• Understanding of hydrocarbon units of measure and conversions.
• Hands-on experience in the downstream Oil & Gas sector within a multi-entity environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MDG in a CFIN landscape.
• Familiarity with data quality tooling, such as SAP Information Steward.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, including DAMA-DMBOK.

Work Environment and Contract Details

This role is based in Dhahran, KSA, and is offered as a 3-month onsite contract. The position is equivalent to a Manager or Senior Manager seniority level.
