Job Description
Role Overview
Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a Sr. Business System Analyst (Finance) to join their team. This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, with work primarily conducted at Saudi Aramco facilities. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and focuses on enhancing financial performance and strategic decision-making through expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Manage and improve financial reporting and performance management frameworks.
- Support and implement transformation programs and operational excellence initiatives.
- Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards.
- Establish and maintain robust financial governance frameworks.
- Provide strategic recommendations to support organizational decision-making and financial performance improvement.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, with a preference for experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, asset management, financial risk management, and value assurance.
- Proven experience in transformation programs, operational excellence initiatives, and performance improvement projects.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to formulate and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with business process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Professional certifications including CFA, CMA, or EFQM Assessor.
- Advanced degrees such as an MBA, MS in Finance, or MS in Accounting.
- Experience in developing training materials and delivering workshops or coaching sessions.
Location and Work Type
This is a full-time position located in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, supporting operations at Saudi Aramco. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
