Al-Dawaa Medical Services Co. (صيدليات الدواء) is seeking a dedicated Production Biomedical Technician to join its team in the Sedair Region. This full-time role is integral to maintaining the operational excellence and reliability of critical medical equipment within our facilities.

Role Overview

The primary objective of the Production Biomedical Technician is to repair, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on essential medical equipment and instruments used across the healthcare industry. This position also involves the installation of medical equipment vital for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct operational support for biomedical equipment through demonstrations, information sharing, and user instruction.
  • Ensure biomedical equipment remains in working order by conducting tests, adhering to preventive maintenance schedules, performing repairs, and troubleshooting breakdowns.
  • Evaluate service contracts, arrange for specialized services when necessary, and maintain accurate equipment inventories.
  • Perform component testing and calibration using various manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and applicable code requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports by analyzing, collecting, and summarizing equipment performance trends and data.
  • Offer technical guidance and information on the proper operation of medical equipment.
  • Assess production equipment for readiness and cleanliness, verifying that all processing parameters meet established standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation for all equipment-related activities.
  • Assist in the investigation of product quality issues and propose changes or improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Production department to enhance operational processes.
  • Install and adjust a range of biomedical and research equipment.
  • Contribute to the creation, evaluation, and improvement of processes to increase both efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support product enhancements aimed at improving yields and manufacturability, applying appropriate test methodologies.
  • Implement and support systematic preventive maintenance programs for biomedical instrumentation and equipment.
  • Accurately and precisely diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Mentor and train colleagues on best practices within quality control.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must possess 2 to 5 years of experience in the repair, calibration, and maintenance of biomedical equipment. A solid understanding of medical instrumentation and related technical procedures is required.
