Shop Manager

About the Role

Azadea Group is seeking a Shop Manager for a full-time position in Jazan. This role is responsible for overseeing store operations to ensure high standards of customer service, maximize sales, and achieve profitability targets in line with company objectives. The Shop Manager also manages inventory, ensures proper maintenance, and maintains the shop's external appearance to meet brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities relevant to the region.
• Provide customer assistance, address inquiries and complaints, and foster customer loyalty.
• Ensure all store licenses, certificates, and employee documents are valid and compliant with local regulations.
• Manage inventory activities, including receiving, cycle counts, stock movements, transfers, damaged items, and shrinkage.
• Analyze sales performance, identify top-selling items and missing stock, and manage collection rotation to determine replenishment needs.
• Place accurate orders to meet stock performance objectives and maximize sales.
• Prepare staff schedules based on budgeted hours, visitor traffic, sales targets, and operational needs. Communicate sales plans and set daily and hourly targets.
• Log and update commercial and operational information, as well as various requests, on provided platforms.
• Manage the allocated annual budget, monitor expenditures, optimize costs, and report variances.
• Oversee the shop's image, ensuring compliance with brand standards, cleanliness, display, and maintenance of all areas.
• Develop reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), sales trends, inventory levels, and team productivity.
• For Multimedia & Lifestyle: Monitor sales data to identify trends and opportunities for departmental offerings, optimizing inventory and product assortment.
• For Multimedia & Lifestyle: Stay informed on trends in technology, lifestyles, music, and literature to provide informed recommendations and enhance sales.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team to ensure necessary skills and optimal performance. Conduct daily meetings for staff engagement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Four to six years of experience in Retail or a similar role.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

This is a full-time position based in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, within the retail sector. The role involves managing a team and ensuring operational excellence in a dynamic retail setting.
