About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a Showroom Sales Representative to join our team in Jazan. This full-time position is crucial for delivering exceptional customer service and upholding high standards within our showrooms. The role involves comprehensive support for customers, from initial engagement to post-sales follow-up, ensuring a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities and Customer Engagement

The Showroom Sales Representative will be responsible for guiding customers through their purchasing journey, providing expert advice, and ensuring their needs are met. This includes:

  • Following up with customers from their entry into the showroom, introducing them to the company’s products, and assisting them until their orders are secured.
  • Calculating required quantities and helping customers coordinate colors and products according to their specific needs.
  • Handling all customer complaints professionally and striving to resolve them, reporting any unresolved issues to the direct manager.
  • Accepting online customer requests and updating the E-commerce platform, considering required items and stock levels.

Sales Performance and Operational Coordination

This role requires a proactive approach to sales and effective coordination to ensure smooth showroom operations. Core duties include:

  • Achieving sales targets as per the established sales plan.
  • Committing to accomplishing management goals and implementing required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinating effectively with all showroom staff, including assistants, workers, and drivers, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintaining the showroom in an organized and clean state at all times.
  • Ensuring the availability of all marketing tools, such as brochures and catalogues.

Inventory and Warehouse Management

Effective management of product stock and adherence to warehouse procedures are vital for this position:

  • Securing and maintaining a good stock of all items, especially fast-moving ones, to serve customers effectively.
  • Applying the policy for making orders from warehouses based on minimum and maximum stock levels, adhering to the first-in, first-out (FIFO) policy to prevent dead stock.
  • Reporting all missing products in the main store to the direct manager.
  • Ensuring the proper arrangement of goods in warehouses according to warehouse policy and procedures to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies during periodic inventory checks.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

The representative will also contribute to financial processes and ensure adherence to company policies:

  • Submitting financial reports to the region accountant when required and ensuring daily deposit of sales cash amounts into the company’s account.
  • Ensuring the implementation of company policies and instructions.
  • Maintaining overall order and discipline within the showroom.
  • Executing all job-related activities using safe and environmentally sound methods.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

This role involves regular reporting and a commitment to enhancing sales processes:

  • Providing the direct manager with regular reports on competitors' activities and promotions.
  • Cooperating with other branches to facilitate the resale of slow-moving items.
  • Submitting periodic reports detailing achievements, problems, and failures to the direct manager.
  • Offering helpful ideas and suggestions to develop and enhance the sales process and value.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.
