About the Clerk-Accounting Role

Marriott International is seeking a Clerk-Accounting to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is integral to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of financial entries within the organization.

Role Overview

The Clerk-Accounting is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial entries and maintaining organized financial records. This involves meticulously checking figures, postings, and documents for correctness, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding. The role also includes managing cash and cash equivalents in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
