About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and organized Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director of Hapag-Lloyd AG in the Saudi Arabia region. This role is crucial in managing the daily workflow and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Support: Serve as a trusted partner, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, effectively managing the Managing Director's calendar.
  • Act as the first contact for stakeholders, screening calls and emails, and ensuring professional communication.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Managing Director's meetings and trips.
  • Organize travel logistics including flights, visas, and accommodations.
  • Provide secretarial support for meetings including taking notes and ensuring follow-ups on action items.
  • Support the Managing Director in external commitments and administration tasks related to office management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role, or 3+ years in a commercial role in Shipping or Logistics.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.

Soft Skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
