The Role of Senior Manager - Construction

AECOM is seeking a Senior Manager - Construction for a full-time position in Jeddah. This role involves the comprehensive management and administration of high-rise construction projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, policies, and PMC standards. The Senior Manager will serve as a primary liaison between AECOM, clients, and design teams on complex multi-story developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer high-rise construction projects, establishing project-specific objectives, policies, and protocols in line with PMC standards.
• Provide strategic management and guidance to subordinate managers and supervisors, enforcing company and project policies.
• Act as the primary liaison between AECOM, clients, and design teams for multi-story developments.
• Oversee all aspects of high-rise project construction to ensure compliance with design specifications, budget, and schedule requirements through subordinate teams and trade partners.
• Coordinate design-build integration and resolve design-related construction challenges, leveraging a design background.
• Administer projects through their complete lifecycle, from pre-construction budgeting and scheduling to design coordination, procurement, construction execution, and contract closeout.
• Manage design coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration between design intent and field execution.
• Maintain significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction projects, managing complexities such as vertical logistics, safety protocols, and multi-phase coordination.
• Coordinate with design teams and consultants to address constructability issues, value engineering opportunities, and design modifications while maintaining project schedule and budget integrity.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management.
• Demonstrated experience in the overall management and administration of high-rise construction projects.
• Proven ability to provide strategic management and guidance to project teams.
• Experience in coordinating with design teams and consultants on complex developments.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, requiring on-site presence and active involvement in project management and coordination. The role involves working within a global team focused on delivering significant infrastructure projects.
