The Opportunity: Team Manager (Quality)

Almarai is seeking a Team Manager (Quality) to join its operations in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. This full-time role involves managing a self-directing, multi-functional team focused on the manufacture and packaging of seafood products. The primary objective is to ensure adherence to internal and regulatory standards while continuously improving production efficiencies in a safe working environment. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-functional team in the manufacturing and packaging of seafood products.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive and support the implementation of corrective actions in collaboration with department managers.
• Actively participate as a member of the HACCP team.
• Oversee the successful commissioning, verification, and trials of new equipment.
• Maintain health and safety standards within the department by conducting regular risk assessments.
• Conduct plant inspections as required.
• Perform GMP audits as necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Experience in implementing and driving corrective actions.
• Familiarity with HACCP principles and participation in HACCP teams.
• Experience with equipment commissioning, verification, and trials.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
• Proficiency in conducting GMP audits.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position within a dynamic multinational team dedicated to furthering Almarai's growth plans. The role is based in one of the following cities in Saudi Arabia: Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh.
