Financial Reporting & Control Manager

About the Role

Global Management Solutions (GMS) is seeking a Financial Reporting & Control Manager to join its team. This full-time position is based in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), near Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and plays a crucial role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance.

Role Summary

The Financial Reporting & Control Manager will oversee accounting operations, internal controls, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to IFRS and Saudi regulations. Key responsibilities include leading month-end and year-end closing activities, managing fixed asset accounting, and maintaining robust financial control processes. Candidates with strong experience in the Real Estate, Construction, Civil Engineering, or Logistics industries are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting.
• Lead month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Saudi financial regulations.
• Manage fixed assets, including reconciliations, depreciation, and asset controls.
• Review journal entries, accruals, invoices, and various financial transactions.
• Manage Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) reconciliation and supplier accounting.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable and outstanding payments.
• Prepare and submit Saudi VAT returns in compliance with ZATCA regulations.
• Support Corporate Income Tax filings, audits, and overall tax compliance.
• Maintain robust internal controls, accurate financial records, and reporting integrity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Control, and Tax Compliance.
• Strong experience within the Manufacturing, Real Estate, Construction, Civil Engineering, or Logistics industries.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CMA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent is a plus.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with ZATCA, Saudi VAT, and Corporate Income Tax compliance.
• Strong expertise in fixed asset accounting and financial controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
