The Role of Financial Reporting Manager

MEMF Electrical Industries Co. is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance, and providing financial insights to support management decisions. The role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in financial reporting and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the year-end financial reporting and external audit process.
  • Prepare and review audit working papers and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of regulatory and statutory reports.
  • Manage financial reporting requirements, including government surveys and external submissions.
  • Provide accurate financial information to support management decision-making.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
  • Assess the impact of new accounting standards on financial reporting and disclosures.
  • Review and enhance financial reporting controls and processes.
  • Develop controls and reporting procedures to ensure GL data accuracy and integrity.
  • Coordinate audits required by funding agencies and third-party agreements.
  • Oversee financial reporting for controlled and affiliated entities.
  • Review and analyze the financial statements of affiliated entities.
  • Establish short- and long-term priorities for the Financial Operations function.
  • Partner with the Controller to strengthen financial reporting and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide financial reporting expertise to Finance initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, and efficiency.
  • Support senior management with financial analysis, insights, and reporting recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead financial reporting and audit processes.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in developing and enhancing financial controls and processes.
