Role Overview: Sr. Launch Engineer, Interiors & Exteriors

Lucid Motors Middle East is seeking a Sr. Launch Engineer to support vehicle launch, production ramp-up, and ongoing manufacturing operations. This role serves as a primary liaison between Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers, and Program Management, ensuring that interior and exterior systems meet quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction standards. The position is based in Makkah, specifically in King Abdullah Economic City, and is offered as an Internship. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, demonstrating ownership and resilience in resolving issues and achieving program milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead launch and production support activities for vehicle interior and exterior systems.
• Support prototype, pilot, pre-production, and Start of Production (SOP) builds.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for issues related to quality, fit and finish, gap and flush, craftsmanship, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Quality, Program Management, and Design Engineering teams to ensure successful vehicle launches.
• Track, prioritize, and ensure closure of launch issues, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Support process improvements focused on quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the on-site engineering representative during critical launch activities and production escalations.

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
