Sr. SAP Specialist Finance

Role Overview

Lucid Motors Middle East is seeking a Sr. SAP Specialist, Finance to serve as the functional lead and subject-matter expert for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions. This full-time position is based in King Abdullah Economic City and involves partnering with Finance, IT, and implementation teams to translate business requirements into scalable, integrated, and compliant solutions. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional subject-matter expert for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling, providing guidance on solution design, configuration, and process optimization.
• Own SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solution design, configuration governance, functional specifications, and traceability from requirements through deployment.
• Support end-to-end Record-to-Report, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Material Ledger, Actual Costing, Product Costing, and Margin Analysis processes.
• Ensure effective integration with SAP MM, SD, and PP modules and relevant external systems, including banking and tax solutions.
• Coordinate finance workstream activities, timelines, risks, dependencies, status updates, and issue resolution across business, IT, and implementation partners.
• Coordinate testing, defect resolution, business validation, data migration, reconciliation, cutover, go-live readiness, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, segregation of duties, approval workflows, statutory requirements, and audit-readiness standards.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to improve process efficiency, reporting, cost transparency, margin analysis, and SAP-enabled business insights.
• Maintain functional documentation and deliver training that supports user adoption and sustainable solution ownership.

Functional Leadership

This position leads functional design, delivery, testing, go-live readiness, user adoption, system stabilization, and continuous improvement across the SAP finance landscape. The specialist will guide the implementation and optimization of financial solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling. This includes practical experience in solution design, configuration, and process optimization within a complex enterprise environment.

Compliance and Integration

A core aspect of this role involves ensuring compliance with internal controls, segregation of duties, approval workflows, statutory requirements, and audit-readiness standards. The specialist will also be responsible for effective integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and external systems, such as banking and tax solutions.
