Demand & Supply Planner

About the Role

Our client, a leading FMCG and beverage company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Demand & Supply Planner to join their Supply Chain team. This full-time position is based in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product availability in the right quantities, at the right time and cost.

Role Overview

This role focuses on critical supply chain functions including demand forecasting, production planning, material planning, inventory optimization, and supply/dispatch planning. The Demand & Supply Planner will manage these processes across various warehouses and branches throughout Saudi Arabia to maintain efficient operations and product flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze regional forecasts, sales forecasts, warehouse capacity, available stock, and production capacity.
• Conduct detailed SKU-level forecast analysis to improve demand planning accuracy.
• Monitor Demand & Supply Planning (DSP) KPIs, perform root-cause analysis, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Review sales trends and identify key demand drivers across products and product groups.
• Prepare statistical forecasts to support the sales forecasting process.
• Develop production plans based on stock availability, capacity, demand, and actual sales trends.
• Plan raw and packaging material requirements while considering stock levels, warehouse capacity, shelf life, and cost.
• Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to ensure material availability for required production volumes.
• Prepare supply and dispatch plans to maintain stock balance and minimize shortages, excess stock, and aging inventory.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging materials.
• Ensure planning documentation and system records are accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate closely between Commercial, Logistics, Procurement, Warehouse, and Technical teams regarding volumes and supply requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry.
• Hands-on experience in Demand and Supply Planning.
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes.
• Strong SAP knowledge, particularly DSP/APO.
• Good understanding of production planning, material planning, and inventory management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Very good command of English.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in FMCG, beverages, food manufacturing, consumer goods, or high-volume distribution environments will be highly considered for this position.
