About the Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking a Merchandiser to join its team in Medina. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring that SADAFCO products are consistently available and prominently displayed at the point of purchase, in strict adherence to established planograms and customer contractual agreements. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in a similar capacity.

Product Availability and Presentation

• Replenish shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays according to company guidelines.
• Ensure outlets maintain adequate stock levels of relevant SKUs to support all designated display areas as per contract terms and planograms, liaising with the sales team as needed.
• Maintain excellent product presentation in line with merchandising policy, planograms, and space rental agreements.
• Follow company policy for date code and aging product management, including liaising with the sales team for returns.
• Implement product rotation to prevent expiry issues, ensuring products nearest to expiry dates are positioned at the front of the shelf.
• Position Point of Sale (POS) material in all appropriate locations, removing and replacing old or damaged materials.
• Ensure the current correct price is displayed for all products at all times.

Operational Management and Reporting

• Diligently use company-provided tools, such as the Merchandising App, to track store performance and inventories as per guidelines from the Team Leader/Merchandising Supervisor.
• Capture and submit pictures of executed shelves and displays according to company requirements.
• Ensure all company assets (*, racks, stands, chillers, freezers) are clean and, if necessary, arranged for repair or replacement.
• Report competitor activity observed in the market, including pricing, new products, and promotions, to the line manager.
• Adhere strictly to the Journey Plan (JP) within the specified visit frequency.

Customer Interaction and Professional Standards

• Support customers and resolve concerns by responding appropriately to requests, such as providing relevant information regarding stock levels or addressing issues with chillers or freezers.
• Maintain grooming and personal appearance in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure the company car is clean, both inside and outside.
• Verify that delivered products are in excellent, undamaged condition, as personal appearance and product quality represent SADAFCO.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Merchandiser position should possess 2-5 years of experience in a merchandising or similar role. The ability to manage product displays, maintain inventory standards, and communicate effectively with sales teams and customers is essential. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
