About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a dedicated Painting Technician to join our team in Medina. This full-time role is responsible for executing all painting and finishing tasks with efficiency and professionalism. The technician ensures high-quality results that consistently meet company standards, client specifications, and safety regulations, covering both general application and product development purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to accurately determine project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to verify that work specifications align with approved plans.
• Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, covering fixtures, and ensuring appropriate environmental conditions.

Paint Application and Surface Preparation

• Clean, sand, and prepare various surfaces, including walls and metals, in accordance with company standards.
• Mix paints, coatings, and related materials to achieve specified color, texture, and finish, ensuring consistency and timing accuracy.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using appropriate tools and techniques, such as brushes, rollers, or spray guns.

Quality Assurance and Documentation

• Produce and apply paint samples for testing or client approval, ensuring adherence to color codes and quality standards.
• Conduct preliminary tests, such as adhesion and drying time, to verify paint quality and application results as needed.
• Label, document, and record all samples, including material specifications, application methods, and test outcomes.
• Package and ship samples securely, coordinating with relevant departments and authorities when necessary.

Safety and Equipment Management

• Maintain and clean all painting tools, spray equipment, and work areas after use.
• Handle all chemical and hazardous materials safely, strictly following company and environmental regulations.
• Execute all function-related activities using safe and environmentally sound methods.

Collaboration and General Duties

• Collaborate with sales, R&D, and project teams to ensure product and color requirements are fully met as required.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.
