About SADAFCO and the Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking a Pre-Salesman - Ambient for a full-time position based in Medina. This role is central to executing pre-sales calls according to established journey plans, with the primary objective of achieving sales targets. The Pre-Salesman is responsible for effectively selling all SKUs to customers and ensuring optimal product availability, visibility, and replenishment within assigned outlets.

Key Sales Responsibilities

• Follow designated Journey Plans diligently, ensuring no call exceptions and engaging with all non-buying customers.
• Contribute to route optimization by informing the Sales Supervisor of new outlet openings and closures.
• Provide customers with suggested orders to ensure maximum SKU availability in their outlets.
• Record accurate stock levels for all relevant SKUs in each outlet.
• Oversee the proper delivery of goods by the delivery team and collect payments as per agreed terms.
• Ensure all Temporary Credit (TC) invoices are collected within the defined TC credit policy and properly filed with the relevant supervisor.

Product Management and Display

• Replenish and display products in adherence to merchandising policy to increase shelf space and off-take.
• Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of company assets, such as Chillers and Freezers, with a strict policy against non-SADAFCO products.
• Immediately report any maintenance issues related to company assets to supervisors.
• Report any misuse of company assets by customers to the sales supervisor without delay.
• Ensure Point of Sale (POS) materials are displayed in outlets as per company policy.

Operational and Administrative Duties

• Review and sign returned products from stores upon receipt, reconciling them with the storekeeper as per company policy.
• Manage stock in stores and backrooms to prevent bad returns and damaged products.
• Ensure all sales-related administration is completed correctly and on time.
• Ensure daily collections are properly deposited with the cashier in a timely manner.
• Ensure synchronization of orders for delivery on the next working day after returning from the market via the Mobile Sales Force Application (MSFA).
• Complete daily MSFA endorsement with the supervisor, discussing daily activities, market development opportunities, sales achievement against targets, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to agree on next steps and actions.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Minimum High School diploma.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in van sales; pre-sales experience is considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated commercial aptitude.
• Well-developed communication skills.
• Proven ability to maintain existing customer relationships.
• Capability to build relationships with new customers effectively.
