About the Opportunity

Nesma United Industries is seeking a qualified Safety Engineer to join our dedicated team. This full-time position is based in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, offering an opportunity for professionals with a minimum of 3 years of experience in safety engineering to contribute to a robust safety culture.

Role Overview

The Safety Engineer will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across Nesma United Industries' operations. This role involves the proactive implementation and diligent monitoring of safety protocols, ensuring strict compliance with both company policies and client requirements. The successful candidate will contribute to fostering a secure work environment and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and client requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness sessions.
• Monitor contractor compliance and maintain HSE documentation and reports.
• Support emergency preparedness and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Engineer.
• NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate within Saudi Arabia.
• SCE registration is preferred.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site to fulfill the responsibilities of the role within the specified region.
