About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supv II Food & Beverage to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time position involves overseeing daily operations within the food and beverage department to ensure optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff collaboration for optimum service and guest needs fulfillment.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning, and securing premises.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, adherence to FIFO, and cleanliness standards.
• Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
• Oversee dining rooms to ensure seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and well-being.
• Submit work orders for maintenance and repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, and motivation of employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and protection of company assets.
• Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and identify opportunities for efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost savings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visual inspection of tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in food and beverage operations. The role requires completion of safety training and certifications as mandated by company policy.

This is a full-time position based in Medina, Al Madinah, within a dynamic hotel environment. The role involves working collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high standards of service.

Additional Duties

The Supv II Food & Beverage will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors to support departmental and hotel operations.
