Technician Mason

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Technician- Mason to join their team in Medina. This full-time role involves performing various masonry and carpentry tasks to maintain and repair property structures and finishes. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, install, and repair walls and partitions, including drywall, wallpaper, millwork/molding, and faux finishing.
• Install and repair various finishes, such as laminates.
• Perform rough-in framing for doors, frames, windows, and cabinetry.
• Repair, maintain, and construct wood structures including partitions, doors, furniture, and similar items throughout the property.
• Execute miscellaneous minor repairs, such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
• Order necessary items by completing requisitions, obtaining manager approval, and utilizing appropriate vendors.
• Load, transport, and unload freight from elevators to designated areas using a hand truck.

• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move up and down a ladder as required.

Additional Duties

The Technician- Mason will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors, contributing to the overall maintenance and operational efficiency of the property.
