About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking an Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team in Makkah. This full-time role is suited for a passionate and dynamic professional focused on guest service, who can provide creative solutions and support the Marketing & Communication Team in event organization and sponsorship acquisition.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the organization of various events and securing sponsorships to cover expenses and generate revenue for the hotel. This position involves direct interaction with potential sponsors and clients, as well as coordination with internal departments and external media partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and implementing an effective filing and administrative system for all sponsorship and event organization matters.
• Identify and maintain a database of potential sponsors for all events, targeting specific sponsors for individual events.
• Negotiate and manage arrangements with potential sponsors to secure advantageous agreements.
• Socialize and meet with potential sponsors and clients.
• Formulate all correspondence related to sponsorship proposals and negotiations.
• Assist in handling events with relevant hotel departments to ensure sponsor branding aligns with contractual agreements.
• Assist in maintaining effective working relationships with target media (electronic and print, local, national, and international) to maximize coverage of events and promotions.
• Host members of the media, strategic partners, and top clients at property functions and events.
• Assist in the production of promotional material, including gathering supporting data and collateral.
• Take photographs of internal functions, banquet and conference events, and VIPs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience required: 0-1 years in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated passion for guest service and ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to provide creative solutions.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the Rotana Hotels team. The role involves working closely with the Marketing & Communication Team and various hotel departments.
