Banquet Manager

About the Role

Hilton is seeking a Banquet Manager to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the daily execution of all banquet functions and ensuring memorable experiences for guests. The position is based in Makkah, with operations also extending to Jeddah.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a friendly and proactive manner to enhance their experience.
• Plan, organize, and execute various banquet events, including breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas.
• Oversee the setup of function rooms, ensuring all elements such as linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware meet event specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate event details, procedures, and updates to relevant teams including Food and Beverage, Event Services, Property Operations, Audio Visual, and Housekeeping.
• Manage the breakdown of function rooms and ensure proper storage of all equipment for future events.
• Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations to maintain guest and team member wellbeing.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in banquet management or a related hospitality role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute a variety of banquet events.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team supervision and development.
• Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
