Dermatology Nurse

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Dermatology Nurse to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within clinics, utilizing the nursing process, and adhering to established standards of nursing practice and performance. The position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as assigned, following established policies and evidence-based practice.
• Document all relevant information correctly, appropriately, and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the clinic is prepared for effective use by the physician, including consumable material stock levels and medical equipment.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards, and guidelines based on legislation and evidence-based nursing practice.
• Report equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to the nurse supervisor.
• Act as an advocate for patients and families.
• Co-operate and work effectively with other professionals in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Comply with policies for personal and patient safety and for the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
• Promote a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture.
• Contribute to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in self-education, training, and development, as applicable.
• Contribute to the achievement of cost efficiency savings on the unit.
• Maintain awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials.
• Complete nursing assessments and document medical history from patients.
• Adhere to Medicines Management for the safe keeping and administration of medication.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in nursing, with a focus on dermatology or clinic-based care. A strong understanding of nursing processes and established standards of practice is essential for this role.

Work Environment

This role is based entirely indoors, with 100% of work performed within clinic settings. The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week, with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
