The Role of an Electrical Power Engineer

Dar is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer to join its team in Makkah. This full-time role involves supporting and overseeing electrical power systems within a Maintenance and Operation project. The primary objective is to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and performance of electrical infrastructure, adhering to project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise the maintenance and operation of electrical power systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and distribution networks.
• Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Diagnose electrical faults and coordinate corrective maintenance activities.
• Review electrical maintenance plans and ensure proper implementation.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during electrical maintenance activities.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical power engineering, specifically related to the operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
