About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our team in Makkah or Jeddah. This full-time position is central to ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests and staff through the expert maintenance of critical building systems. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain and conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant.
• Monitor and control property temperature, and analyze energy and utilities usage.
• Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other relevant equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance as required.

Operational and Safety Standards

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, demonstrating a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to operational excellence. This role requires an individual who is proactive in problem-solving, dedicated to safety protocols, and capable of maintaining professional standards in a hospitality environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees.
• Capability to move in confined or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Capacity to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or a ladder.
• Skill to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Ability to assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
