About the Opportunity

Algihaz Holding is seeking a dedicated Mechanical QC Engineer to join its team in Taif, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to upholding stringent quality standards in mechanical engineering projects.

Role Purpose

The Mechanical QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works, materials, and processes comply with established codes, specifications, and safety regulations. This role involves comprehensive quality control activities, from initial inspections to final documentation, to guarantee the integrity and performance of mechanical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review codes, specifications, and processes to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues, implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure that workflows, processes, and products comply with all relevant safety regulations.
  • Monitor and follow up on Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs) and Quality Management Tracking System (QMTS) reports at the site.
  • Oversee Requests for Inspection (RFI) and Requests for Material Inspection (RMI).
  • Record quality control maintenance cases between the contractor and SEC.
  • Follow up on site instructions provided by SEC.
  • Inspect all received materials at the site, ensuring their quality aligns with purchase orders.
  • Monitor Material Inspection Release Notes (MIRN).
  • Prepare and review monthly QMTS reports and submit QMS Process dashboards, manpower reports, and other relevant reports monthly.
  • Support quality engineers by providing necessary administrative information.
  • Provide, collect, and review Project Quality Plans (PQP).
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement quality controls and improvements.
  • Perform required inspections as per the approved Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
  • Attend all inspections with client and contractor representatives.
  • Ensure the timely processing of non-conforming components.
  • Implement quality control systems, determining corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
  • Perform inspections related to mechanical infrastructure, including plumbing, firefighting, and HVAC systems.
  • Prepare reports on the quality level of executed works and the implementation percentages.
  • Create and archive quality documentation for database maintenance and quality certifications.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess 0-1 years of professional experience in a Quality Control or related engineering role, with a focus on mechanical infrastructure projects. This foundational experience is crucial for understanding and implementing quality assurance protocols effectively.

Work Setting

This is a full-time role based at project sites within Taif, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The position requires active engagement in site inspections and close collaboration with project teams and external partners.
