The Role: Higher Education Professor in Physiology

Alghad College for Applied Medical Sciences is seeking a Higher Education Professor in Physiology to join its faculty in Medina, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, one-year contract position requiring 48 working hours per week. The successful candidate will contribute to the college's educational mission by delivering high-quality instruction and participating in academic and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement educational and training programs in accordance with the study plan and assigned teaching load.
• Teach assigned courses and conduct practical exercises as per officially determined quotas.
• Manage all tasks related to course examinations, including question setting, grading, review, and auditing.
• Communicate the latest developments in the field of specialization to students.
• Participate in developing college programs and improving work procedures.
• Contribute to department council meetings, committees, college activities, and scientific research programs.
• Perform scientific research in the area of specialization and prepare necessary quality reports for academic courses.
• Maintain order in classrooms and laboratories, and ensure student safety.
• Provide academic advising and undertake other administrative or academic tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to all regulations, laws, rules, and instructions in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Hold the specified academic degree in Physiology from a Saudi university or a university recommended by the Ministry of Education, with proof of degree equivalency if obtained internationally.
• Possess an extension in specialization for lecturers and faculty members.
• Achieved a Bachelor's degree grade of "Good" or higher.
• All university qualifications must have been obtained through full-time attendance.
• A minimum of two years of academic experience in the field of specialization is required.
• Successful completion of a personal interview.
