Key Responsibilities:- Assist in managing the bakery section of the kitchen.
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls, pastries, and other products.
- Ensure quality and consistency in all baked offerings.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product presentation.
- Support daily production and mise en place preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery section.
- Handle storage and management of ingredients and baked goods properly.
- Implement food cost controls and minimize waste.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Baker or Baker Chef de Partie.
- Experience in high-volume bakery production.
- Knowledge of bread making and baking techniques.
- Ability to produce a variety of bakery items with consistency.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Current and relevant trade qualification (proof may be required).
- Positive attitude with good communication skills.
- Dedicated to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Excellent grooming standards and planning skills.
Additional Skills: - Ability to work various shifts including weekends and evenings.
