QA/QC Specialist Construction Experience

About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a QA/QC Specialist with Construction Experience to join our team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables, products, and services meet established quality standards, client requirements, and regulatory expectations. The specialist will support the implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement throughout all project phases.

Role Overview

The QA/QC Specialist works closely with project teams, contractors, and various stakeholders to maintain high-quality performance. This involves a focus on both quality assurance (preventive measures) and quality control (detection and correction) to ensure adherence to specifications and standards from project inception through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and quality management systems.
• Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and quality assessments of processes, materials, and deliverables.
• Review quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and compliance certificates.
• Identify quality issues, non-conformances, and defects, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Monitor and track quality KPIs and prepare quality performance reports.
• Support internal and external quality audits and certification processes.
• Verify compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide quality awareness training and guidance to project personnel.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation and retention of quality records.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within the construction sector. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
