Supervisor Housekeeping

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Housekeeping to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing the quality of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring adherence to established standards, and supporting Housekeeping management in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage room status by running sold room reports, verifying discrepancies, prioritizing cleaning, and updating departing guest room statuses.
• Coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
• Document and resolve discrepant room issues with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
• Communicate relevant issues to the next shift and complete required paperwork.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Ensure compliance with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally and develop positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
