Role Overview

Air Products Qudra is seeking a DT Industrial Automation Senior Engineer to join its team. This full-time role is based in Duba and Neom, KSA, and will primarily represent DT Plant Computing engineering efforts for the NEOM Green Hydrogen program. The successful candidate will be embedded in day-to-day project activities, collaborating closely with Air Products Engineering centers located in the US and India. Hands-on field experience in active construction or project sites prior to the operational phase is a key requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Process Automation Engineers to build and deploy control systems for the NEOM Green Hydrogen plant projects.
  • Participate in Industrial Control System cybersecurity assessments and deployments.
  • Configure and install PCs and Servers specifically for Process Control Applications.
  • Engage in troubleshooting issues identified during testing, commissioning, and start-up related to Process Control PCs and Servers.
  • Develop Zone & Conduit Diagrams and Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture models for Process Control Systems.
  • Design, configure, and deploy Plant Floor applications for malware, antivirus, disaster recovery, safelisting, asset management, remote access, intrusion detection, and other protective layers for OT assets.
  • Work with vendors and adhere to industry best practices for proper infrastructure support.
  • Optimize work processes and implement automation to enhance service efficiency and productivity.
  • Contribute to the training, orientation, and onboarding of new team members.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an Engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical), or equivalent work experience.
  • 15+ years of DT experience or comparable experience with process control systems.
  • Demonstrated hands-on field experience in active construction or project sites before the operational phase.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficiency with Windows PC Operating Systems (Windows 7, 10, 11) and Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows 2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection, Acronis Backup, Netop Remote Control, and McAfee Application safelisting.
  • Experience with networks (TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems such as Siemens PCS7, Honeywell, and ABB.
  • Fluency in IEC 62443 and NIST SP-800 is a plus.
  • An ISA99/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist Certificate is a plus.

Work Environment and Commitment

This role requires a commitment to technical leadership and project delivery, with work primarily based at the project site location. The position is full-time, contributing to critical industrial automation initiatives within the NEOM Green Hydrogen program.
