About Air Products and the Role

Air Products is seeking a DT Industrial Automation Senior Engineer to join its team in Duba, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to the NEOM Green Hydrogen program, a world-scale initiative where Air Products contributes to groundbreaking solutions. Role Context and Program Contribution

The Senior Engineer will represent DT Plant Computing engineering efforts directly on the NEOM Green Hydrogen program site in NEOM, KSA. This position requires close collaboration with Air Products Engineering centers located in the US and India. A key aspect of this role involves applying hands-on field experience during the active construction and project phases, prior to the operational start-up of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Process Automation Engineers to build and deploy control systems for NEOM Green Hydrogen plant projects.
  • Participate in Industrial Control System cybersecurity assessments and deployments.
  • Configure and install PCs and Servers specifically for Process Control Applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues identified during testing and DT activities throughout commissioning and start-up phases, focusing on Process Control PCs and Servers.
  • Develop Zone & Conduit Diagrams and Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture models for Process Control Systems.
  • Develop, design, configure, and deploy Plant Floor applications for various layers of protection for OT assets, including malware, antivirus, disaster recovery, safelisting, asset management, remote access, and intrusion detection.
  • Work with vendors and ensure adherence to industry best practices for proper infrastructure support.
  • Optimize work processes and implement automation to enhance service efficiency and productivity.
  • Train, orient, and onboard new team members.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or a related field. The position requires a strong technical background and practical experience in the areas outlined in the responsibilities.
